Hyphen - The Pit of Babel

Video-performance filmed on a site located at Holešovice, Prague.
Archival images show a paint factory in the 19th century that later
became the Center for Geology Research. The last building was demolished
in 2012 with intention of a new construction site. Similar to the Tower of Babel,
the intended project was stopped by the authorities due to restrictions on the
height of the buildings in that specific area.

Filmed with a drone, the video shows three actions happening at the same time.
Marking stones with numbers 0-9, measuring the height, length and diagonal of
the pit and the drone cameraman documenting slowly from a birds-eye-perspective.
